Hive is the clearer route for buyers wanting the Hive service ecosystem and matching radiator valves. Nest 3rd gen remains a Google UK option for compatible heating and hot water; Thermostat E is combi-focused. The North American Nest 4th Gen is not part of this UK comparison.
