| Cut and extend rules | Cut points, maximum length and extension accessories vary by model |

| Protocol | Direct Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and Matter variants require different hubs/controllers |

Adhesion
No brand-wide adhesion winner is declared. Paint, texture, dust, heat, corners and gravity affect results. Follow the exact mounting instructions and avoid damaging finishes or creating a trip/electrical hazard.
