Hive Radiator Valves are add-ons to a compatible Hive heating setup, not standalone replacements for the boiler thermostat. Confirm the Hive Hub and heating requirement, radiator valve-body fitting, room count, batteries and call-for-heat behaviour.

Core Hive thermostat functions do not require Hive+. Optional Hive+ adds paid tools and eligible-device cover subject to current terms.
Savings
Smart valves can reduce unnecessary room heating only when schedules, temperatures and the boiler-control path are configured correctly. They do not guarantee a cash saving.
Installation checks
Identify the metal valve body, not just the removable head. Use only a manufacturer-supported adapter, and stop if the valve is seized, leaking or the fitting is uncertain.
